Encanto Inspired Birthday Party

I admit, this party was a quick turnaround. Between planning my son’s birthday party, hosting a bridal shower, a family wedding and a trip to Disney World, the month leading up to it was total chaos. I kept hearing, “Don’t stress. She’s only two! She won’t remember.” But the mom guilt was strong. My sweet baby girl only turns two once, and I wanted to make her party as special as all the rest. Thank God for Amazon and Common Bond Bakery! I was able to pull it off in less than a couple weeks!

The Table Setting

This was a small family party at our house, and I always like to do a beautiful tablescape when we’re hosting. I used Rifle Paper Co. wrapping paper for the runner and made the flower arrangements myself. The gorgeous pink and orange roses are from Costco, and the additional flowers are from Central Market. Of course, you can't have an Encanto party without the candle. I found it on Amazon.

I used these inexpensive round lavender plates from Target and these paper butterfly plates from Amazon. The silverware is also from Amazon.

The Cake and Food Set-Up

I was lucky to borrow the Casita backdrop from a photographer friend. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and from Common Bond Bakery. They never disappoint! We served a mix of Colombian and Cuban food (made my mom), which was oh-so delicious!

The Casita

I gave our playhouse a Casita makeover! I always try to dress it up for holidays and parties. It’s a fun way to expand on the theme. The fake flowers are from Amazon, and I made the signs using our Cricut.

Market Stand

Our lemonade stand is another prop I use for our backyard parties. This time, I turned it into a little market stand. I grabbed one of our baskets from inside the house and added some maracas, pinwheels and gumballs to make it reminiscent of the gift basket from the movie.
